Author Biography

Gretchen Gentry

When Gretchen Gentry was 13; she received Jesus Christ as her Savior. Yet slowly she quit reading her Bible and started doing what she knew was wrong. Gretchen was more concerned about approval from others than from God. "Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God" Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ? (Galatians 1:10).

Gretchen graduated from Lockhart Academy in 1994 as valedictorian. Then in 1995 she was involved in a serious car accident. Gretchen was in a coma from her head injury. However, Gretchen is so thankful to God for the wreck because it was a blessing in disguise. After Gretchen's wreck, she dedicated her life to God. In John 10:28, the Lord Jesus Christ says, "I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand."

Gretchen and her friend Ted Ball keep busy with ministry: Rejoicin' Ministries. They eagerly share the good news of Jesus Christ. "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matthew 28:19). "I planted the seed; Apollos watered it, but God made it grow" (1 Corinthians 3:6). "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord', and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
